Roku Streaming Player, or simply Roku is a series of digital media player set-top boxes which can stream near-endless amount of TV and videos on demand by the means of Internet. Roku, with the default settings and channels, isn’t much interesting but there are lots of channels which as you keep adding to your Roku player, the player starts to get interesting & addicting. There are channels related to Movies, TV, Music, Kids, Sports, Tech, News, Games, etc. which provide you lots of video streaming in their category.
There is two type of channels available in Roku – Public Channels & Private Channels. Roku allows you to search & browse Public Channels directly through the players but the number of Public Channels are very few. Real fun comes when you start adding Private Channels to Roku player.
There are hundreds of Private Channels that Roku supports which can provide you endless video and music streaming but it doesn’t show them directly via its player due to one or other reasons like the channel isn’t official, the channel is in BETA, Roku doesn’t trust the channel, the channel is new, it is a third-party channel, etc.
However, many of those channels are really amazing. They are safe and provide such features which aren’t otherwise free. Today, I am providing the list of 100 amazing Roku Private Channels that you should install on your Roku player right now to make it a one-spot destination for all your entertainment.
Roku Private Channels are not directly available to browse. So, if you want to add any private channel to your Roku, you need the channel’s code (which I am providing in the list below) and then, follow these steps:
- Go to the Roku web site, sign in to your account you used when you set it up, and head to the My Account page.
- Here, click Add a Channel under Manage Account. Once there, enter the channel’s code and click Add Channel.
Alternatively, Instead of the channel code, you can follow the special link of the channel (if provided) to directly get redirected to the channel page inside Roku to add the desired channel.
The channel will appear automatically after 24-hours (when Roku refreshes itself). However, you can speed up the process by going to Settings >> System >> System Update. After performing a manual update, your channel will appear within few minutes at the bottom of your Roku Home screen.
