The Best Photo Printers for your Business for 2020

As the world moves into a new decade, clarity of thoughts is a huge requirement in the marketing initiatives. This, can only be matched by clarity of images that people like to observe across their campaigns, and a lack of clarity can hurt the brand.

That being said, we decided to have a look into some of the best printers across the globe, especially if your business relies on them. So, we sat down with one of the best printer cartridge and ink suppliers in BlueDogInk to ensure that we don’t miss out on any obvious choices, and to hear it directly from the horse’s mouth.

Photo Printers

The best photo printer: Epson SureColor P400

Photo printers can easily cost more than the camera itself, but the Epson SureColor P400 offers the ideal balance between price and image quality. Of course, the printer sells for more than one basic photo printer, but the prints are much better than those budget options, all without incurring the price of a large format printer.

So why is the print quality so good? The SureColor P400 uses eight cartridges, with seven for color and one called “brightness optimizer.” That combination creates intense colors that leave the page, without oversaturating. Because there are more cartridges, the printer can create a good variety of color tones, leaving more precise colors than a cheap photo printer.

While it is excellent in quality and price, to keep the price low and high quality, the printer does not spit photos exactly in seconds. A typical photo takes several minutes. The printer can create images of up to 13 by 19 inches, including support for paper rolls, so it will not have the flexibility of size of a large format printer.

The best instant photo printer: Fujifilm Instax SP-3

With its Instax brand, Fujifilm played an important role in boosting the instant camera industry after it was lost during the rise of digital cameras. Instax cameras use real instant film to create a print that is fully developed in a couple of minutes, and Instax Share series printers can create these same movie prints directly from digital images stored on your phone or tablet. The Share SP-3 is Fujifilm’s newest model and our favorite so far, thanks to its use of the Instax Square format that creates 2.4-inch square prints.

In addition to manually selecting the photos from your phone to print, Share SP-3 introduced the Hash Print function that can automatically print from an Instagram hashtag. This could be excellent for birthday parties, weddings and other events where guests share images with the same label.

Printing takes about 13 seconds (plus a couple of minutes to fully develop) and the battery has a total capacity of 160 prints. Compared to an Instax camera, which prints every photo you take, an Instax printer allows you to be more selective about what you print, and this could save you money. However, although we have not tested the SP-3, our experience with other Instax printers has taught us that they can quickly become addictive. Printing images from your phone is surprisingly fun, and this can lead you to go through a movie quite quickly.

The best photo inkjet multifunction printer: Canon Pixma TS 9521C

The Canon Pixma TS9521C is not a photo printer; not really. It is billed as a “craft” printer, hence the final C in its name. You can print on everything from envelopes and greeting cards to CDs and DVDs (because apparently, they are still things). But within the scope of all the cunning things, printing photos is certainly something you can handle, and with the built-in scanning and copying functions, you can also handle much more.

One of the interesting things about the TS9521C for photography is that, in addition to printing up to 11 x 17 inches, you can make borderless prints of 12 x 12 inches. The speed is 15 images per minute. You can also make two-sided printing thanks to the two-sided printing functionality, and the paper tray can accommodate up to 100 sheets for printing documents, so it can meet the needs of a home office.

The all-in-one offers several ways to connect, even wirelessly with Apple AirPrint. There is a built-in SD memory card slot if you want to take photos directly from your camera and convert them into prints without first going through a computer. Finally, the printer can be controlled with Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa and even If This Then That. For the price, it is difficult to find a printer that does more.

Printing personally, when done correctly, can give you the best results and allows you to experiment with all types of paper types. It may not be for the faint of heart, but if you are the type of person who likes to have maximum control over your creative work, you need to have your own printer and these are 3 of the best that we can think of.

Whichever printer you decide to go with, check online retailers first like AA Print Supply Co. Chances are you will be able to buy the printer or at least some ink and other supplies for it at a good price. Buying a printer does not have to break the bank, and the print shops no longer have a monopoly on high quality printing
