4 Reasons an Android Is Better Than an iPhone

One of the hottest debates of all time is the one between Android and iPhone users. Both parties have formed a cult where it is must for iPhone users to dis Android and Android users and vice versa. Either you are an iPhone user or an iPhone hater, there is no in-between. With everyone selecting sides, I have joined the Android army and vowed to show everyone why having an Android phone is definitely better than owning an iPhone. But, that doesn’t mean Apple products are not up to the mark. I prefer the co-exist stance where I use anything that meets my needs.

Recently with the release of iPhone 11, Galaxy s10e, Galaxy Note 10, Google Pixel 3, One Plus 7 Pro, and many other phones, the debate for supremacy has continued where it left off a year ago. So, without further ado, let’s look at 4 reasons why an Android is, was, and always will be better than an iPhone.

Pricing

Apple has always been prone to overprice their products. Apple drastically changed the market with its iPhone X, which can cost over $1000. Such a huge price range has specified this phone for only an exclusive group of people who can afford it. Whereas, an Android has brought the smartphone experience at the doorstep of anyone who wishes to have it. With their budget phones from One Plus, Huawei, and OPPO being somewhere between $300 and $500, you can find a handset of your liking that gives a near-flagship experience.

Versatility of Applications

It has been the trademark of any Android phone to be innovative. According to a rough estimation, there are almost 3 million Android apps and nearly 2.5 million iPhone apps. The Google Play Store is a fantastic platform with a simplistic, user-friendly UI. Submitting an app to the Google Play Store is much easier than going through Apple’s App Store. This gives a chance to young developers to get motivated as they get a free platform for their inventions.

Also, you can download apk and obb files of android apps from websites like apktovi. You can access any app that is restricted in your region and get access to new and exciting features of an app before they are officially rolled out.

Customizability

The main strength of Android phones has always been the ability they give their users to customize their phones according to their needs. You can layout whatever you want on your home screen, add and remove widgets, change launchers, download music, and much more.

However, due to the restrictions in an Apple phone, you don’t have as much freedom to do whatever you want. If you enjoy tinkering, then Android is going to give you a lot of options.

Battery Life

One of the biggest factors that come into play when deciding a phone is its battery life and charging speed. Where it is very difficult to compare the two phones because they have different hardware, it is a common consensus that iPhone apps squeeze more juice from the battery. Many android phones are coming with wrap and fast charging which helps you get a day’s worth of battery in only half an hour.
